Fishing helped get me back into biking after a long hibernation. A friend
and I started heading out on pre-dawn fishing trips carrying beer,ice, and
fishing stuff on our backs. About a decade later, He's still fishing but
not biking a lot. I'm still biking but not fishing at all. Got tired

Tenkara fly fishing intrigues me, much the way SS intrigues me and I now
love it. Simplicity. No reel, but a well crafted pole and line. All
collapsing very small and portable and easy to set up. If I was to fish
again, I think that is what I would do.

My problem with fishing around here is it's all farm raised. I want to
eat what I catch and my brain does far better on wild fed meat rather than
grain fed. I could do catch and release, but I'd rather be running or
biking than having fish outsmart me. Sardonic grin.
