I'm on the other end of the problem. Where are the 650b plus size road tires? There are plenty of knobby offerings in the 2" - 2.35" size but nothing like the big apple isn't one and neither are the supremes. Anyone have suggestions? I ride paved trails. -- You received this message because

Schwalbe has a 60 mm wide 650B tire coming out called the Big one. Shallow micro knobs so it should do fine on pavement and gravel. The Vee Rubber Speedster is a 650B x 1.95 tire that is another smoother conditions tire They measure about 47 mm on a Dyad. ~mike Carlsbad Ca On Saturday,

I really do like the Surlys. They may not be as sexy, and they might be a tad bit slower, but they're good enough and the price is right. A big step up from the Fatty Rumpkins IMO. I keep bugging Panaracer people about a 650b version of the new Gravel King (the real ones, not the Pacenti ones)

Hi Hugn, nope not running the Cazaderos. Nothing against them one bit, just looking to see how broad the selection is out there, see if I'm overlooking anything... and if the selection really is only the Caz and the R, well, then, that's wayyy fewer options than I'd hoped. Thanks. On

David, I think Jeffery nailed it. For my Hilsen the Cazadero's are pretty much it. I think the R's are a mm too large. Waiting on a set of Cazadero's to mount soon. I wish there were more options but as Jeffery said above the 27+ has taken over, were in a pocket universe for cross type tires in

Search away .. but none you will find. I wish someone would prove me wrong, though. For a minute I really thought that would be the next direction in 650b tires: WTB's, Challenge, etc. .. but it looks like the Plus (+) craze has shifted the market away. First came the 29's, then 27.5's and

Not sure if it falls under "knobby/cross" but the lowly Panaracer Col de la Vie does have more of a micro knob tread, not too unlike some of the file tread tires that have come out. About 35mm actual or slightly wider depending on rim. I used them when I first did a 650b conversions, did some
