No worries, John. In hindsight, I should have purchased the widest 52cm (aka the "true" 48cm at ramp) RM-013's. At the time I made the error in assuming they were listed/measured the same as the Noodles and thought 48cm would be a good place to start knowing I could go up to the 52cm if

Thanks for that Brian. I’ll keep this in mind. Not sure if I want to try an even wider bar or not at the moment. While I like the 44cm noodles, I’m tempted to try the “true” 48 cm width, only with more flare, so I might want to try the 52cm RM-013 rather than the 48cm. But as I said, this is

John, Here’s a good comparison of the RM013 toRM014 as well as the Noodle. http://biketouringnews.com/components-touring-bicycles/cockpit/touring-bike-handlebars/nitto-dirt-drop-handlebars/ I actually have a 26.0 RM013 in 48cm width... which is narrower than and measured differently than a 48

First off, I'm surprised by how much I like the 13's. I thought what I really like about Noodles are the curved tops and was worried I wouldn't like these since they're flat, but it's actually more about the long reach for me. The added flare does exactly what you describe, gives you a little

Darin, curious how you notice the difference between your 46cm Noodles vs. your Nitto RM-13. I ask because I have thought about trying the RM-013. Although I like my noodles (in 44cm), at times I wish for a little more flare so my forearms don't hit the tops when in the hooks, sprinting. On

I wonder if they are actually any wider than a 48cm Noodle. They state 50cm c-t-c at the ends. Noodles are 48cm c-t-c at the lever clamps - with the 4 degree flare, they must be close to 50cm at the ends. The other measurements seem very close to the Noodle as well. I wonder if they aren't

I spoke to the folks at the Sim Works NAHBS booth, and as Darin stated, they're based on the Noodle bar. I had a hands-on look, and although visually wider, they felt less strange in the hands, compared to when I ride my 42cm bars, after being used to 46cm bars. On Thursday, March 21, 2019 at

Jim, I am pretty sure they are indeed Noodle shaped, just in 50cm. Drop, reach, flare and swept back tops all match Noodles. I am curious to try wider drop bars but am just so freakin' comfortable on my 46cm Noodle's and 52cm (about 46cm at the levers) RM-13's that I just haven't gotten around
