Kieran, the bag is only attached on the bars and the tombstone. I used a longer strap on the tombstone that intertwines with the rack, preventing it from lifting off the tombstone if I hit a big bump. That really helped stabilize the bag overall. Because the bar height is almost the exact

Wow, the ride sounds amazing and the bike looks great too! Thanks for posting; I feel inspired/jealous. :) Do you have corroplast or something like that in the bottom of the bag to keep it from sagging over the rack? Cheers, Andrew in SLC -- You received this message because you are

Sweet! I am really looking forward to single track again! As a rule, our trails are under snow for another month. Given we got over two feet of snow recently (a week ago?), I suspect they are still snow bound. Grin. With abandon, Patrick On Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 10:32:56 PM UTC-6, Mark

Looks great, Mark. I wonder how the Longflap would do on a porteur rack type scenario. Is the bag attached to the bike in any other ways besides the straps on the bars and the tombstone? KJ On Monday, April 25, 2016 at 12:32:56 AM UTC-4, Mark Reimer wrote: > > I had all day Saturday to

Thanks for the ride report, and the supplementary musings. Your experiences with with loading, bars, bartender bag, and the Ozette match mine. I'm pretty happy with the "cinch down" ability of the Shopsack for now, but I can see the appeal of the Carradice. The joy and optimism bubbles out of
