Ultegra CX70 is a great choice. I'm running a wide compact double, 42/25T,
and it's great on the big jump. The cage is shaped for maximum 48T ring
and makes sense it would be great on a triple.

We've set up plenty of CX70's on triples and wide (46/26) range doubles.
They shift nicely. Stiff, look decent, side plates that don't get in the
way. But a better bet is find an old Shimano R440 front mech, pure silver,
cheap, shift well. That's a great derailleur.

Oversize steel tubes. With the fenders and racks it weighs in at 48 lbs!
