I like my Dahon for the grocery store for this reason, too -- it takes up
less space, or at least seems to (not that I really mind taking the 29er
Matthews to the store, either).

also made by Avid for a while as a cable angle smoother outer (I'm not
convinced it makes any difference), and Shimano put one on the first XTR Rapid
Rise mech.
