Thanks for the comments all. I agree Rivendell put in some nice touches to
finish off a substantial and well thought out bicycle. I plan to write more
after a month or two of riding.

I have to say those bikes are growing on me. I like the black a lot and
the OEM parts...Silver cranks and the Clem hubs are good-looking. They're
great bikes and it's awesome to see more affordable Rivs. I really like
the shot of the bike with the box of Clementine oranges over the rear wheel
Very nice. I to like the small touches that adorn your bike. Things like
the different coloured nipples are just one example.

Looks great! Are you trying to order another Alex DM18 in 650b to build up
the wheel? My understanding is that they're in the Alex catalog, but not
available through distributors. Looks like Riv's supplier was able to have
a batch made for the complete bikes.

An old bike shop trick...
*Lightly* spray the bars with hair spray to get the grips to slide on.When
the hair spray dries it will also keep the grips from slipping or turning..
