35mm is the best size (that I've found) for optimum gearing flexibility on my Quickbeam, too. I think it's the size the bike was designed for. Maximum size, maybe. I loved my 28s when I was lighter (200#) and rode more on nice asphalt and none on gravel logging roads. I'm tempted by the JB Greens
