No, they are solid. I use a hacksaw to cut them to length (remember to
measure twice and cut once) and then a file to smooth and bevel the end.

I so wanted this to be a video of Nitto in his Nitto hat and apron in front
of the factory striding with attitude! Oh well. If that's the biggest
