Interesting. Most who responded essentially said don't do it and no one
expressed interest in buying my QB. If someone would've said please,
please, please sell me your 68cm QB because I *really* want one and there

I'm guessing the QB has lighter tubing that an Atlantis. I know mine feels
springy compared to my All Rounder, but less so than my Road.

I agree with most folks - especially David here. I'm sure a stripped-

brochure, and the rough stuff and day-touring builds look pretty
spartan to me:
Typically, going rate for a complete QB (as far as I've seen) is $900
- $1000 if its in very good condition.

This is an easy one -- get a light set of wheels for the Atlantis.

Definitely a possibility I suppose. I do have to say that it feels sort of
weird showing up for a fast (it's all relative) ride or a triathlon on my

I would ponder this possibility very carefully, if I were considering your

Getting into the conversation kind of late, but yea, what he said. Set up
the Atlantis w/ light wheels and maybe drop some weight elsewhere (saddle,
cranks, shifters, whatever) and see how you keep up w/ the buds. Still
doesn't do it for you, then you have a bunch of lightweight parts that you
