Looks like a great time! And please, if you were there, confirm this: Shimano
LX hubs, brand new, 32 hole, for $1 each? I think I'm going to be sick.

Agreed, hanging out and chatting was the best part. Oddly, I had a bit of
'option paralysis' looking at all the stuff: My brain couldn't resolve the
need-to-bike equation on the spot, so I just got the one shirt from the garage
sale.

I showed Vince a Pletscher rack I broke and he happily gave me a brand new
one from the pile for free. I bought 3 rims, 3 wheels, a stem/bar, and 2
tires.
Great time just talking to good people though!

some brand new wheels - LX hubs to 650b Velocity aeroheat (Rich-built), a
brand new XT front der, shimano MTB brake levers, a red basket net, generic

I wanna know how much those dhimano dyno hubs were that Manny had his foot over
the price. I saw a "1". Were they below 20$ each?

What were the big ticket items they had? I see the 50cm cheviot someone
snagged for $1k! What was the $2k one (I think the blug post said items up
to $2K). Any other frames there?
Also, nice pictures Manny!

So many wheels and hubs! Also, scored one of those $60 Woolpower tops, $5
cargo net, $10 Altus, $6 Fiskars branch trimmer, a lightweight adjustable
Pletscher kickstand I'd never seen before, and a Jumbo Grabsack prototype.
Fun scene. Just bummed I didn't have time Saturday to stick around
Franklyn and Manny- Thanks for the pics. (Proves I missed another great
occurance in WC)

I got a brown Riv sweatshirt, 3 small pink wooly warm T-shirts for my wife,
several hubs, Altus crankset, silver thumbies, handlebar tape, nitto
seatpost, and two 650b rims. There were definitely some great deals. Here
are some photos:

I got a Bike, Book & Hatchet shirt for 5 bucks, then bought a MultiSack and bar
tape after the shop opened.
I brought my Dahon folder 2-speed for a little underbiking at Shell Ridge. I

the trailhead just as I had

I would not miss the blem and used stuff, because it is used and blem. The
overstocks though.that hurts to miss!
Wonder if they will have any overstock 41 Noodles and Shimano brake levers?
But alas, I am on the east coast.

Agreed. On that note... I'm going to be bringing a huge 30 cup coffee
percolator with coffee.
Someone bring dairy or non-dairy option.
Sugar would help too...
Also provide your own cups.

The fact that you make that mistake says less about your ignorance, and
more about our silly demarcations. Except for Weed and Crescent City, just

California. When you make it out here, just remember there is no Central

So why does Hawaii get to claim Mid-Pacific when us right-coasters in the
non-descript region between, say, lower NJ and upper North Carolina fall
into the Mid-Atlantic? I would think the Bay-area is as much
Mid-Pacific as anything else.

Point taken, I have never been to CA but know about local geography
sticking points living in NYC and all. Take the ever expanding area called

became trendy the real estate agents and newcomers claim that it now
