Then there is flattish dirt riding on top, with no water except what you can beg from car drivers. One can continue east to Highway 65 and do a loop back into the Grand Valley at ~120miles. I tried it once and called my wife 6 miles from home for a bailout. Yes I was that hot and tired. --
