Steve, I am using a Nitto Noodle and a Brooks B17 saddle. I also have a Dimension adjustable stem elevated to somewhere around 120 degrees that I want to swap out with a VO 117 degree stem. If I have the courage...it took me quite a while and a couple of stems to dial my bike in. I'm Jeff...I

I have an 84cm PBH and ride a 650B Bleriot frame. I had some worries too about the right frame size...there were a couple of 55cm's on good sale, ebay and here/there. Ultimately, I relied on Riv sizing and bought the 57. That was absolutely right on. One unknown that I didn't think about at

I recently purchased the A. Homer Hilsen from Rivendell. Since their facility is nearby, I decided to stop by and browse. I benefited greatly from meeting with Jay and Grant; they went to terrific lengths to get me properly measured and sized. I was also invited to try several bike models with

The difference between the Hilsen in 57 and the former Saluki now Hilsen in 58 is the top tube length. The 650b bike is 1.5 cm longer. The 650b bike in 56 has the same top tube lenght as the 700c in 57. Now it´s interesting which proportions your body has and which riding-position you

I think it depends on your riding preference. The 59cm might be right for you if you prefer a more upright position whereas the 57cm frame might be better if you ride in a more aerodynamic crouch...your age may be a factor too. I'd discuss this again with Riv before making a decision. On Aug

It doesn't matter much unless you're a crotch-worrier or if you need your bars set at either the absolute highest or absolute lowest possible height. The size of the wheels has zero consequence to whether you fit on the bike while riding it, but if the bike is on the big side, fat tires may push

I assume that recommendation was made on the basis of your reach. According to the geometry chart the TT on the 650/58 is 58.5 while on the 700/57 it is 57. I have a PBH of 84.5, but a short torso. With drop bars and my seat back where I like it I find that a TT of over 57cm has me more
