- Age / condition of the various components
- Crank length and BCD
- Is the 18 tooth cog fixed or free? I should be

This is the perfect bike for me.

I _think_ it's too big for me. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway. The
fact that my Clem is irritating to carry on the train and the Quickbeam
would make a great commuter shouldn't affect that, right?

I bought it. Can't believe it but that was a hell of a deal. So now I have a
Surly Cross Check FS. There was a lot of redundancy between my Sam and Surly

Yay new bike day! Thanks for saving me. I had been waiting for a 58 QB
for a long time before buying a Gunnar SS off the list. This was still too

I procrastinated a bit then decided to part with the Surly which I can always
replace and which I would have bought bigger if I had to do it over. Lots of
love on the list for QBs so I've been intrigued and know I won't be upside down
in it if I don't like it. It'll immediately get a CC build
Congratulations! I was sorely tempted by this, too. I look forward to
learning how you like it.
All the best,
