This seems like misanthropic behavior. I saw that phrase on Rivendell's
website in the returns section and laughed a little. I like the idea of
good customer service but the customer needs to play fair too.

If it was stolen you would think that it would have been listed low and
quickly sold at that low price. This seller is continuously relisting and
trying to get more than the advertised price. It's odd behavior but not
behavior I would associate with something that was stolen.
