Such good news! And better still that you found it in town, as opposed to,
say, Karim's in Berkeley.

Found! Thirty days later. Pawn shop in town had it listed on CL. Very
kind RBW Group member alerted me to it. It's unharmed. We picked it up
today. Thief sold it to the pawn shop for $60 (which I had to pay), and
the pawn shop had it for sale for $600. Thanks for all your kind thoughts.
Yess! So glad to hear you got you bike back, Just made my day! -Mike

Great! Glad of happy ending. By the wsy, since you did report the theft, you
should not have to pay the pawn. That's on them. They must return your $60 or
make other compensation. Lots of stuff in the shop are probably hot.

Wow! really good to hear you got it back. I agree with Ray though, if
the pawn shop buys stolen goods, that's their problem, not yours.

David,
Really sorry to hear this happened to you. I can't imagine what I'd do if I
lost my Hilsen. Though a long shot I hope you recover the bike.
Best,

Don't give up hope.
On another forum, a lady had her Rando bike stolen. Three years later, she
updated the thread. Her husband saw it on Clist or ebay or something and
got it back for her.

Don't give out the SN unless you have the original proof of purchase.
If you don't have proof of purchase, anyone can claim it is theirs if they
know the SN.
Unless RBW kept your records.
