No. It's not really worth starting a new thread. Not really RBW-related. It's not about carbon. And it's not really a "bike" recall. It's a QR skewer issue and the Trek shops already have boxes and boxes of replacement skewers. If you have a Trek with a front disc, they replace the skewer

I have a buddy here who has an unbelievable knack for having dumb stuff happen to his bikes (once while racing cx, I passed a pair of cranks on the course - the style with an integrated spindle. 20 meters ahead, there he was, looking dumbfounded when he realized his bike had no pedals anymore!
