unfortunately i don't have a scale at home, but when i picked up my
simpleone from the bike shop once the mechanic said, it's lighter than i
expected. ha. that seems like a win to me! although i assured him that was
only because the medium saddesack and wald basket were empty.

bikes. The Atlantis and Santana weights are correct, but the Sam Marcos is

I would have to agree, both of those weights look very optimistic. My
lightest steel bike is a 54cm Della Santa made with very lightweight OS
tubing, full Campy Record 10-speed group, Ti stem and seatpost, Speedplay
pedals, and non-leather seat with Ti rails, yet it is just under 20 lbs.
Haha! 26.5 is much more believable.
That Atlantis is still hot at 26lbs, because it's so bomber and still
respectable in weight. You could drop 2 pounds or more but it may cost you
$1500 to do it.
