VO vs. Paul - I can make the difference of $30 for a Sunrace thumbie vs. 2
VO shifter mounts for $70. But $68 for a single Paul shifter mount is too
steep for my commuter Cheviot. The VO seems to be a sweet spot in the
middle of the price range and nice
I haven't tried it myself but I believe the Velo Orange shifters look like
they would work. If you are using a Microshift lever, I would get a
Microshift thumbie from Paul though:

I should have mentioned which bike and bars and derailers:
Cheviot 60cm
Tosco 55cm bars. The shifters are mounted low (near the flat section of the
handlebars where the stem attaches).
Front derailer: Shimano RX100 double (old, same pull as most others),
probably FD-A551 model.
