Those Vittorias really bring back memories of metal cleats nails and above
all comfort. I started riding those in the late '60s and until the final
pair gave up the ghost have yet to experience a more comfortable shoe.
Also, I just stumbled onto another blast from the past on Ebay. Puma was
OK, I confess, I'm old enough to have owned these shoes! But, if memory
(not to be trusted) serves me right, my first pair of vittorias wasn't
until the early 80's. I'm a size 47-49, so these are a non starter.
I have been walking around, indoors, this winter in a pair of NB minimalist

comment about 44s v 45s would your say the Exustars run small? I wear

I would say they run normal. I've found that as I age my feet have
slightly grown and I now am on the cusp between 44 and 45 for most
shoes, while I used to be a size smaller. If you are happy with
Shimano 45s, I'd be inclined to think that 45 Exustars would work,
too. My 44s feel much the same as
