Me, gmail and list traffic -- RBW, IBob, CR -- is behaving on my 2 Macs and
my iPhone just as it has been doing for the last10 or 15 years; I guess I
don't really want to know
I will say that even in the past 2 or 3 weeks there have been a lot of
changes (most for the better) to the new Google Groups format.
They've made a few management things easier, which I like, but have some
other new aspects which cause issues.
At this time, I have no plans to try to migrate
Does anyone know how to get this group to play nice (nicer) with IOS?

why doesn't it show messages with last posting at the top so you don't have
to scroll down to find the last in?
why are not the new messages in a bolder font so you can easily tell the
old from the new?

I just got involuntarily forced into the new view. How this is an
improvement I have no idea. The nice easy visual parameters that let you
know what you've read, how many messages have posted since, who the OP was,
etc., all knowable at a glance. I see that top posts have also been
removed.
That's disappointing. I am still on Classic view. I don't suppose that will
last now.
Perhaps the new format will be tweaked over time to make it more user-friendly.
Or maybe it's the beginning of the end for Groups as we know it.

That's my experience. Classic was there yesterday & gone today. Settings
only includes global, report, & help now. I'll see if I can detect the
bold but it's nowhere near as much more bold than in classic. Seems kinda
silly. I liked the bold in the classic esp because it indicated new

The new group sucks. But, new messages should be highlighted (bold). If so,
then read what you want. Look for the 3 dots to mark as read for whatever
you don't read. Good Luck!
