The ramp position was quite usable. Not bad at all. For the shifting
range my drive train setup and my riding conditions required, it is a bit
less ergonomic as compared to having them next to the levers.

- On 51 Appaloosa I had 9 speed Microshifts mounted inboard. Sometime near
the levers, sometimes on the ramp. B
I have Microshift thumb shifters mounted inboard. The cable exits at a
downward angle, leaving plenty of room to grab the bars right in front of
the shifters.

What Jonathan is saying so true about Bosco bars. At first, in theory, it
doesn't make sense. After using Albatross, Choco, Jones Loop, Surly Open
and a few more, I bought Bosco out of curiosity. Primarily because when I
went to pick up wheels from Rich's place I noticed he had Bosco on man
John - great build and I love my Rivelo silver Joe. I go back and forth on
boscos and Chocos. Both great bars with the Joe.

That Appaloosa looks so good! I saw it a few days ago on Utility Bicycle
Works's Instagram. It looks even better now that it's finished.
I admit, though, I'm biased. I also have an Appaloosa with Bosco bars. I
hope you update after you've used them for a while. When I first put them
on my bike
