Hi all, I'm thinking I'd like to try a saddlesack for my 54 cm Riv Road. Of course, it looks like the now discontinued small size would be the one for me. I have about 9.5" between my saddle loops and the rear tire, so the new BagBoy won't really work for me. Let me know if you have a Small size saddlesack for sale.
The bike is currently running an older Sella Anatomica saddle that is at the end of the adjuster bolt and still feels kind of saggy. I think I may eventually get it re-covered, but in the meantime, I've been interested in a Cambium saddle for quite a while. Does anyone have a Cambium sitting around that they would part with? On a related note, these parts are for the Road frame that I previously posted about regarding my Albatross bars situation. It wasn't very comfortable with those bars, likely due to the cramped cockpit and relatively harsh ride of the Ruffy Tuffy tires when sitting up so straight. This weekend I mounted a set of 46 cm Noodles that I bought from a list member as a complete cockpit, with Tallux stem, Tektro brake levers, Suntour bar-ends and multi-color bar tape. I rode it both days this weekend, and I think I like this bike a lot more as a drop-bar bike. I'm considering going for the Compass Chinook Pass EL tires once I wear out the Tuffys, or just get tired of them. Now I just need to figure out what frame I should get to put my Albatross cockpit on!
