This is bigger than you're looking for, but a good illustration of hanging bags
under a springer saddle. Just loop the straps through the bottom of the springs
instead of saddle loops..works great with this small Saddlesack and should work
well with an extra small, also. I have a RuthWorks
I strap a smallish, inexpensive bag to the seat rails and keep my fix-it
items in there. A Carradice Zipped Roll on the saddle bag loops would work
(would also probably work strapped to the rails).
Another option is to put a roll tool bag or a water bottle filled with
tools in a water cage.
Yeah anything that doesn’t hook underneath the saddle too much, and sits off
the rear is good. The carradice style bags all work and the banana bags are
good too.

I've used a Carradice Junior on a Champion Flyer; just strap it to the
springs.
