Wow, Ireland. No, sorry, I don’t want to ship internationally. It would probably cost more to ship it than the wheels themselves and it would take a really long time to get there. Thanks,RyanSent from my iPhoneOn Jun 12, 2024, at 4:41 AM, Nicholas A wrote:Interested in the VO wheels if you
Interested in the VO wheels if you would ship to Ireland?

I know in this group there is praise, admiration for wheels built by Rich
L., and I’ve had a couple such sets and they are great. But in the non-RBW
(and non-silver) category, has anyone here had experience with wheels from
Hunt (out of Boulder, CO — and the UK, too, I guess)? Looking at a
I have an SH frame I built up but the wheels are crap. the only 135mm

and then a mismatched front.
this bike deserves a decent wheelset.
where do I go looking? what online stores/shops?
there are very few 700c 135mm spaced wheelsets up here in
First post but I've enjoyed this group for several years.
I ride a 2015 AHH built by Keven at Riv before he left.
Recently moved to small town in western NC, Brevard. Lots of cyclists here.
Mostly mountain bikers.
In the eight months we've been here I've yet to see another Riv. Surely,
I'm getting a lot of suggestions for the Dyad from this and other sources.
Probably going that way.
Thanks to all,

I agree with Jim on the dyad for your bike James . Yah for the Dyad, nay
for the MA2 . It was not a really a great rim .
Another option is the H Plus Son TB14, it's a modern rim in the classic
style . It comes in a nice polished silver :)

Velocity Dyad if you want 700c. Tough rim that some people use with
tandems. Good looking enough for a Rivendell.

Hello again!
I spoke with Rich at Rivendell today, regarding a wheelset for my future
Bombadil. He suggested XT hubs with either Mavic A319 rims or Velocity
Dyads, in either a 32 or 36 hole configuration. I didn't ask him for what
kind of spokes he'd use. The wheelset with the A319s is $430 and

Just four short weeks from today, the Wheels North riders will depart
Santa Rosa and point our bikes toward Seattle, 1,000 miles away.
A video report from today's local WN training ride is available at the
WN blog:

Wheels North is a fundraiser for charity.
Wheels North is coming (we start riding in 34 days!), and we're
training a lot. Here are photos from yesterday's ride, an 88-mile
loop with about 4500 feet of climbing--all on a 30-pound singlespeed
lugged steel bike.

If you're on this list, you've probably already heard about Wheels
North. We'll be riding from Santa Rosa to Seattle to raise funds for
disease research, covering 1,000 miles in 11 days of riding.
We just released info on improvements to our route, which you can see

Thought I would share this with the group. Yes, everyone who rides
with us to Portland will have a chance to meet Elle Pointdexter.
