Hi all, I'm moving to a bigger place with a basement that will be a great bike workshop area. Given the amount of time I spend tinkering, maintaining, and building bikes for my wife and I, I think it's time to upgrade past the cheap plastic work stand I have been using for the last three years. I don't know the name or model of what I have, but it is a mostly plastic job from Amazon.
Wants/Needs: I'm not concerned with weight, or ability to store, as it will have a more or less permanent spot in the basement. I'm willing to pay a little more for durability--between my bikes, my wife's bikes and a revolving door of friend's bikes, I seem to do a lot of work on bikes lately. One-hand clamp operation would be great. A built in tool holder is unnecessary, but not a bad thing. I'd love to hear your suggestions! Brett, looking forward to a long winter of wrenching in PDX. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
