Thanks Rich and Patrick, it is a great bicycle. Got a good deal on it and happy that it can fit up to 32mm tires. It is designed for grass track too so not as "tracky" as some other track bikes. Fun for rides up to 100k longer than. That and some drop bars are in order. Oh and yes, swept back

Clayton, that looks like a fun rider. Nice! Thanks for the pic. Agree with other comments about the bars corresponding with the frame, setup and other factors. I installed Albas on an '85 Trek road bike and it was not fun when my hands were positioned at the end of the bars. Drops went back

I have a Kona Rove with rat trap passes. First build with Soma Oxfords and long 130mm stem. Second build with high short stem and drop bars. Rode very similar to me but like the upright bars better. Mostly dirt roads with a few hills. Position is slightly more forward on drops but not much.

Depends on the bike. My Cheviot is great with chocomoose bars because the bike was designed for that type of bar. My boulder is great with drops for the same reason. My track bike is awesome with wide riser bars for climbing leverage, snappy handling, and street cred. Clayton Scott SF, CA

And I mean upright...boscos, albatross. Wondering how your bike felt when you went from drops to upright riding. *"Better", as in, became easier to pedal down the road. More lively. Less draggy.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch"
