Admittedly I'm a big guy, In riding clothes I'm right at 250lbs. I rode the SA Titanico X (cromo rails) for about 3 weeks including a century ride... very comfy but not only did the leather sag but I bent the rails. And not just a little bit... I wasn't the original purchaser so I couldn't r

+1000 on this. I had a SA, and it immediately sagged. I detailed my experience with SA customer service here: http://bikingtoplay.blogspot.com/2014/08/buyer-beware-selle-anatomica-review.html I can't ethically sell this POS saddle, so I went ahead and drilled and laced it with an old shoe lace.

I tried a Brooks B-67 Imperial (the slotted version) on my Rohloff Bombadil, and it’s really very nice. I don’t think the slot is a gimmick – for my nether regions, anyway, it’s helpful. From: rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com [mailto:rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Reid Sent:

I guess this is a fairly subjective assessment. While it's not a strong feeling by any means, I have the opposite aesthetic preference, in that - to me - the Rivet looks a bit clunky and platform shoe-ish. The SA looks sleeker to me. KJ On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 3:47:19 PM UTC-5, jbartoe

FWIW - I have tried both the SA and the Rivet saddles and the SA, for me is soft and sags a ton. Adjusting it did little to improve it and I absolutely hated it. The leather on the Rivet is more substantial and does not sag the way the SA does. If anything, one might be tempted to de-tension the

I think it's just a question of some things may work for one and not work for another. There are probably subtle differences in individuals, riding style and preferred seat tilt, etc. that affect the stretch rate. I'm delighted they work for you and whomever. There is never a reason to argue

OK Ron, how can I resist such a bait! Personally, I don't like it when people dis my personal experience, so I try not to do it with others. I wonder if quality control hasn't had its ups and downs and I have been lucky to hit two ups in my purchases. OTH, I have just had the fourth oven han

yes, it sagged this much in the first 8 miles. So if you don't have an 6mm Allen or a handy bike shop, you're SOL. While the rate of the stretch decreases, it never decreased enough for me, either. Still doe

Personally, I think the SA's are junk, but to each his own. One thing for sure, they cannot handle a big sweaty guy like me. I ended up riding on the rails after 30 miles or so. On Tue, Nov 18, 2014 at 10:28 AM, Kevin M wrote: > Another happy Brooks-to-SA convert here. They're not perfect thoug
