Another update with some price drops. I still have a few items for sale.
Also, MUSA Rockmount shirt is back and so are stuff sacks. Sorry to those
who asked about stuff sacks, they were claimed but sale has not gone
through.
Pictures are here.
HI all:
Still waiting for final build on my Platypus. The delay is caused by a
shortage of 650B rims for non-disc brakes. Has anyone thought about stock
piling a pair or so?

I have been wishing Riv would put water bottle bosses back there on frames
that a bottle would fit, ie the Appaloosa! I think it's a great use of
space

Your local bike shop should have the tool and bosses to do that. They drill
a hole and install the bosses like a pop rivet only better.

Yes. The aluminum frames back in the 90s were prone to bottle cage bosses

Thank you Jason -- I think you've just about convinced me that the Atlantis
is the way to go! You are right that it is a dream bike, there is something
so different about them as well compared to anything else out there. Good
point on the front wheel positioning, modern mountain geometry has
Thanks Joe. I can see them in my phone's RBW Iwners Group listservs though,
so go figure.

I'm usually not an alarmist, but I've been stockpiling parts since last
April. I hope to ride rim brakes and 8 speed friction until I can't ride
anymore, which I hope is 35-40 years from now. It was tough seeing all the
shimano and sunrace 8 speed cassettes with a 34t dry up or go for way too

Great looking Cheviot from a reputable seller, picked up a Sackville Happisack
earlier this year and he was open to negotiations on a local pick up. Hopefully
the right person finds that listing.
