Nice looking ride, with shellacked Noodles, a Carradice Barley, and
Nitto cages thrown in.

Your Bianchi is da bomb, as they say in the vernacular. I would love
to use this color for the Roadeo I have on order, but can't find Imron

If anyone out there is contemplating an Atlantis, this one's nicely
spec'd out and priced right. The 58 cm size must be really wrong for
the seller to give up after only 200 miles but stuff happens.
Someone's gonna get a nice bike. No relation to seller, just a happy
Atlantis owner.

Thanks, Jim...I was not able visit here for a couple of weeks because
of work (drat...at least I'm on the bike getting there) and, when
here, I appreciate it's relative purity. You do good work.

Let Jim have the final say, but I don't object to hearing about BG's
new models on this list. Now I do draw the line at crabon fibre.
Perhaps BG might post to the Boblist instead, if it is verboten on this list?

Definitely will! I have the Bruce made version - the Rock 'n Road.
Bruce actually understates tire and fender clearance. I am currently
set up with Schwalbe Supremes 700x40
I don't have any problem with Bruce posting. In fact, I wish he'd say
more about it!
I am curious, for example, why he went with a unicrown fork. Does it
serve some purpose or was it selected to keep costs down on a
production frame?

The arch has a long history of being a go to choice for holding a lot
weight for a long time. Unicrown is a strong design that is easier to
build but less expensive than heavy duty lugged versions.

The Saddlesack small is a nice bag. Rode with one for a weeks worth of

When I rode the Great Divide, there were stretches when I was riding

limit their speed on descents, otherwise their trailers would fishtail

Anyone in Bay Area doing this ride next Saturday?
I am planning on it, just wondering who else I get to meet in person.

Check Rivendell HQ personally. two weeks ago I went to the shop to buy
a number of things and low and behold they had a mark's rack in stock
despite much claims to their website. Check with the staff sometimes
they can surprise you.

Outside Magazine for October 2009, has highlighted the Homer Hilsen in
one of their articles about bike commuting. Interesting note,
G.Petersen has a good article pertaining to the one of the major
struggles of why most people don't bike for commuting purposes,
because it too hard. Good reading
Will the 35mm fenders work okay with 28mm Paselas? I'd think so, but
thought some of you could confirm. Thanks!

Riv does have em in stock now, but I thought I'd check the list first
for any used racks (this is for a budget 650B conversion project). If
not I'll end up ordering a new one.
