I just bought an '89 Bridgestone MB-1 and I'm going to spec it out a
bit differently than the original. So, to offset the cost a bit I'm
selling everything that came on the bike I bought. Most of the parts
are original. Here's the link to a copy of the catalog specs page:

Essentially a brand new set of MKS Touring Lite pedals. I threw these
on my Rambouillet and have used them for about 40 miles but have
decided I am going to give clipless a shot (don't kill me) so these
are going to go. Like I said essentially brand new. $40 shipped.

I think it's because mainstreem roadies don't know what to make of a
typical Rivendell or its rider. And remember, the guys'n'gals on the
latest'n'greatest are always a bit snobbish, regardless of the
activity (cell phones? bikes? dive equipment?). We don't fit neatly
into the pecking order.
I just saw theses from Jitensha very pricey though.

I believe the Grand Cru 50.4 BCD crankset can be used with regular
modern front derailleurs. The

I did a conversion on my road bike, and loved the road feel, but I did
have a drop issue that made it way easier to scrape pedals. I had
planned on running 650x38B but the Pari motos rubbed the insides of my

lower than I'd wanted.
This falls into the You don't know until you try category. After
you get the wheels, you'll either commit to having them on, or love
