Interesting. I ride a fendered VO Rando with DT shifters, and it's been mistaken for a classic (i.e., OLD) bike a number of times, so I kind of hope that's protecting it from the sophisticated, and that the Abus U-lock and cable are protecting it from the quick pick thieves. So far, so good.
