much invisible, which is visually excellent. One thing to note is I
shoulder my bike multiple times per day (apartment, BART, etc), so I need
to reapply the goop every so often to keep wire fixed to frame. It stays

Honestly that's a tough call where you are. The Napa area is an odd cycling
Mecca in that it's heavily shared with cars, and a whole lotta those cars are
filled with wine tasters. I'm sure you can find a few quiet routes, but
definitely avoid Hwy 29 and Silverado Trail.

I’ve read some resources that say it’s okay when the have good head/neck
control, but I read a few others that advised the bumps and rattles that can’t
be consistently prevented can be a risk factor for their brain rattling around.
I bet it’d be fine now (almost 11 months) but waiting just over
Pancake-
Ask your pediatrician. Ours gave us the green light at 6 months because of
great head control. Or wait. Up to you but if you’re anxious it doesn’t hurt
to ask!

I agree with Bill. IIRC, in a Blug or Blahg posting, Rivendell even
suggested that the two bikes were functionally quite similar and not to
stress over the small differences. Unless you have some highly specific
needs, either one will serve you well.

You aren't missing anything. The Appaloosa and Atlantis both are hugely
versatile and cover a wide swath of applications, and as such are pretty
darned similar to one-another. The 53 Atlantis and the 51 Appaloosa are
darn-near identical.

I would think about silicone to the ferules or the brake/shifter housing (or
even cables!). That way you avoid the frame but have it attached to a
nearly-permanent fixture on the frame.
Then again I just wrap and pray usually.

I have use very small zip-ties loosely to tie the dyno wire to rear brake

Couldn’t believe my eyes yesterday, when on my commute, there it was, tied to a
bike rack - a first generation orange Cheviot. All Riv’d out with Sackville
bags too. First one I’ve ever seen AND, ironically, after all the recent

Surprised no one has mentioned Bullhorns. Never had them, but like the
