Re: [RBW] PSA: S Coupled Rambouillet on Craiglist $1000, Montana

2019-07-19 Thread Joe Bernard
Another - and probably cheaper - version of this is: have the shop pack the
bike and give you dimensions, then you buy your own labels through Bike Flights
or Ship Bikes and email them. This takes the shop out of the shipping business,
which I've found they appreciate. All they do is charge you for packing, slap
the labels on and wait for FedEx or UPS to show up.

"Sorry to all those who either hate cameras or don't live in or around

The overlapping hearts logo on the side means it is a RuthWorks bag by Ely
Rodriguez. One of his “wedge” seat bags, maybe the Ultralight Large. He’s on
the iBOB list.
Check him out at https://www.ruthworkssf.com

I got an UltraLight Brevet Handlebar bag from him this spring. He is easy to
work with and you can do some customization with in-stock colors and a short
list of useful options. My bag has been adaptable to several bikes, perfect for
necessities on short rides and requires neither rack nor decaleur — It attaches
with nylon straps and elastics.

Yes, a gorgeous Ram!

My advise. Call a bike shop in the area and ask if they pack and ship bikes.
Have the seller drop it off there. You pay the bike shop to pack and ship. I

[RBW] WTT: Handlebars - My Jones/Noodle/Billie for your Bosco/Albastache

2019-07-19 Thread Jonathan K.
I have a few handlebars that I am not planning to use, and I am in search
of some other bars for current and future projects, so am hoping to find
someone who wants to trade.

I have:
 - Jones Loop SG 2.5 (Jones Kraton grips and plugs included) - These are
the loop bars with rise. Very good condition, some light scratching/fading
on the grip and clamp areas.
 - Nitto Noodle 48cm - Good condition, but have some scratches on the
curves from wiggling levers back and forth.
 - Nitto Billie Bar - excellent condition

Pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/6fPZaH5YRQgA9bLR9

I'm looking for:
 - Nitto Bosco 52cm Aluminum
 - Nitto Bosco 58cm Aluminum
 - Nitto Albastache

Most of these bars sell between $92-$100 (the Jones bars alone are less,
but with the grips they sell for $99), so hoping for even trades. My Noodle
is worth a little less, so I'm happy to pay some cash along with that bar.
If you want to trade, please reply off list.

Thanks,
Jonathan in Milwaukee
