Re: [RBW] Two Lone Wolves Go On A Riv Ride

2022-04-14 Thread Mike Godwin
Fabulous. When I first moved to San Luis Obispo, a coworker stopped by my
cube and within the first week of the new job. I started riding with him
and his longtime riding partner. Every Sunday for 7.5 years we have a ride
date, except of course when one of us is out of town.

Colors? I assume you mean blue bike-blue table and chairs, and red bike -
red table and chairs.

[RBW] FS - Handlebars, Stems, and a Couple of Other Things

2022-04-14 Thread Erik
Now that I've finally landed on my handlebar set-ups for the foreseeable
future, I'm moving the other handlebars along to new homes. And a few
other goodies from my stash that have started gathering dust.

I'm in the north SF bay / Napa area and am happy to meet up for in-person
sales. I can also ship to you. The following prices do not include
shipping.

*Handlebars:*
Choco - $65 - Installed, ridden, and shows signs of wear
Billie - $85 - Nearly new. Installed and ridden once.
Moustache - $50 - older with some signs of wear. Not an albastache. 25.4
clamp size
Jones H-Bar - $50 - installed and ridden a couple of times. 31.8 clamp
size. One scratch from grip removal. Not a loop bar!
Tumbleweed Persuader - $100 new, never installed. Allloy.

*Stems:*
Tallux - $50. Used with some wear from adjusting height. 11cm. 25.4
clamp.
Discord Fingerling - $100. Used with some wear. 31.8 clamp size, 50mm
reach. Clear.

*Other:*
Nitto Mark's Rack - $100 w/ one set of struts and diving board.
Sackville Saddlesack Small - $50 Royal Blue
MKS Monarch Pedals - $50 Used. Silver.

Photos Here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/H8S1DW7455374VH99

Please send me a direct message if you are interested in any of the above.
Cash preferred in person, but can also take PayPal. PayPal friends and
family for online transactions. Let me know your ZIP if you would like
something shipped. It may take a day to get a cost for shipping handlebars
as package sizes can be tricky.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Erik

hey all, sorry for letting this post sleep, now that weather is warming up
i'm building up courage to commute to work! here's the list of folks that

Chase / BedStuy / Clem L & Sam
Patch / E. Wiliamsburg / Quickbeam
Alan / UWS /
Kai / E. Williamsburg / Mixte + (bargain) Ram!
Austin / ** / Roadini
Minh / Park Slope / Quickbeam

Now that weather is warming up, anyone want to start arranging/proposing
rides, i dunno if it needs to be super formal. As far as organizing
methods, any votes? keep it in this post, create a sub-group? private
email list?

And for any new folks that didnt see this originally, feel free to jump in,
we are not trying to replace the group, but trying to create a smaller
thread for hyper-local stuff like rides, parts swap etc.

weather is breaking so lets get out there! maybe Kai will bring that new

How lucky you are, Takashi! What a beautiful area for riding; thank you
for sharing your photos. I especially liked the path bordered with the
trees in bloom. The pink and magenta are probably even more stunning in
person. Is there a sweet fragrance as well? (BTW, I love your fenders!
So classy.)

So beautiful! The images are all spectacular, but that weeping Cherry tree
in the first image is incredibly beautiful. Living in the northern US our
flowering trees are fairly limited, so I really enjoyed seeing these,
especially since it is 30 degrees F this morning here in Wisconsin.

Yes, the PM interface on Google Groups is miserable. I would encourage
all list members to use direct email addresses and be patient with
 sellers.

Apologies to those that think I ignored them. GMAIL can sometimes
put "DM" replies in spam, going back and replying now.

It's always a good idea to send emails directly to someone's email
(some did in this case and we synced up quickly)

 Cheers,

 Alex

Yes, the Romulus that I bought about 20 years ago came with Araya RC-540
rims.
