My first recommendation was based on my sense of what the OP wants. For myself I have to agree with you, I've gone through a few XO-1s (and a couple -3s) and I wouldn't trade any Riv for one, not even a Clem. They're just better bikes from when the XO designer didn't have to make a corporation
