What has been the typical time from the order to delivery of Waterford made
Atlantis or Hunqapillar? I called Waterford and was told at least 8 weeks,
which isn't too bad but I feel like it could be a bit longer, maybe a lot
longer. I was also informed they are waiting for chainstays to
im only concerned about excessively long waits but that seems to be more likely
with customs. This makes me realize that I'd better make up my mind soon so the
bike can be here by the time the weather breaks. I'm patiently waiting to see
the new Appaloosa builds which could satisfy immediate

I like the stout tubing as well. The longer wheelbase of the Joe gave me
concern for singletrack handling. An Atlantis would be a great option too as
I'm a slight fellow so no real need for big tubes. Then there is the aesthetic
aspect where the Hunq and Atlantis shine in my opinion.

I am actually hoping to sell a Jones diamond 29 (steel). Not because it isn't a

All this talk makes me feel that getting rid of my Jones may be a mistake.
(shameless plug for current sale ;) I don't ride the Plus and the Diamond 29
only comes in a 23". When spending this amount of money on a bike and being
told one size (or two) fits a range, it's hard not to be

Thanks to John at Rivelo, I was able to snag the elusive 51 Joe. Today I have
the finished product and could not be happier with how it turned out. More
cruiser-ish than I may have anticipated but smooth, so smooth. With some

Clem L and Rosco Mixte. They were full of good info, as usual, but I
