The brakes arent studed, and fully compatible with an AHH. i guess my
en route dream bike is technically a rebranded Saluki, and has
cantis. Its a long ole story that ill probably share here someday.

I'm 6'2, 92-93 pbh. I ride one of the newer 60cm appaloosa's. I have the
55mm reneherse knobby fleecer ridge, no toe overlap problems at all. I've
only run the bike so far with two setups - losco's on a 11cm tallux, and a

I also think your setup looks good Minh, I'm a big fan of the shop sack &
137 combo, however I use the nitto m1 rack. In my experience i think there
is always going to be some degree of flex when you have a rack
combined with swept back bars and a quill stem, especially as your load

the dia compe canti's, but the
paul's ease of setup and adjustibility allow you to dial in such a perfect
brake feel in my experience. Painfully expensive but they'll last forever!

Haven't used the mushman's, but I recently had the Nitto b802AA 720mm on my
lighting bolt in the city. Similarish, but they have a 15ish degree sweep
and only 2" of rise. I really like this style of swept riser bar, but
switched out because I would get stuck in traffic sometimes since they
shop sack, and haven't had anything too important in the bag.
Water definitely gets in the zipper opening. I've thought a shop sack
combined with a smaller backpack style rain cover over the top like a
shower cap would be a good combo for keeping things dry.

reason). So I've been playing around in rwgps and Gaia Gps maps to make

I have a pair that i used to have on my appaloosa. I’m around 6’1-2” and i
really like the width and sweep. On my ‘21 appaloosa the reach was good,
some might consider it too long. i think itd probably be nice on an older
atlantis, just assuming that it would have a shorter top tube. very solid
For your reference I’m about 6’1 with a 92 pbh and i ride a 60 appaloosa
w/swept backs, and would not want to go smaller. However i have no interest
in putting drops on that bike, I’m guessing sam might have a slightly
shorter top tube than Joe. hesitant to tell you what you should do,
