I replaced my gum hoods with new gum hoods, since the old ones on my

bars. The new hoods slipped over the brake levers with a little

Throwing in my two cents as someone who had a bike on campus all 4 years of
college. I always brought it into my dorm room when I was there, and just
kept it locked outside of classes during the day. it can be a bit cramped
in the dorm room with a bike in there, but I always made it work. Never

I was able to adjust/move the levers with the cables installed. Just need
to pull the brake lever and stick a long allen wrench in behind the pull
arm, loosen the nut and then adjust and retighten. Was pretty easy.
