Tortilla soup? I vote that recipe exchanges are on-topic! In this weather,
it is about survival with soup. :-)
Serious note: is that an Albatross bar on the Viner?

Simon Firth is a super nice guy with a lot of brooks and frame building
experience. That is where I’d send it. He was a Bilenky builder for a
number of years. I believe he is also from London, so you know, he has that
in his corner!
How bad is it? Where are you located? Easier to get it done by a person who
high quality taps and has done it a lot. Cheap taps are generally not
worthwhile. If you are anywhere near Iowa, I’d do it for a coffee or maybe
a craft beer!
Some shops may have the better taps, but not the skill to

I've used Park tools for close to 40 years. ( I know, getting older!) I've
contacted Park about three things over the years and each time they went
above and beyond to help resolve the issue. Two were warranty items and the
other was a missing part to a new truing stand. In each case, I felt
Tim,
I'm a bit late to the party- but I'll add my 2 cents anyway!
The old phil hubs you plan on using are bomb proof. I love how they are
field serviceable with two allen keys. I'm not sure you would ever need to
do so- it is neat that you can. As good or better than any other cassette

I really love this bike. Longer each brakes with plenty of room for a smart
tire size. I have become a fan of the sloping tube as well. It is a a
great combo of speed and practicality. IMHO a cheap man's Rodeo. OK- not
the flash-but it rides very well and for a fraction of the cost. I also
I want to throw out four options. They are: SS, Bike Friday, Brompton and

I'm a small builder- for about the last 22 years and one of the early

I like the Jandd option- might not be large enough for you? Quick- easy

I was reminded how important it is to have gloves the other night. I took
my 7 yo son and 12 yo daughter on an off-road ride (in the scenic George
Wyth park in Cedar Falls, IA for those who care) In any case, my son went
down and one hand was covered with about 10 really nasty slivers.
