When I got there, there was a Betty Foy in the stand that Mark was refreshing for a neighbor. He was shellacking the twine on the kickstand, which is as Rivendell as it gets. After some consultation with Will about how dang good the blue looks - it's miles more impressive than pics on the site reveal - I decided to spend the paint money on shiney new silver bits. Right on Joe. I made it to HQ this past summer and it was fantastic. I was a bit star struck myself standing there talking to Grant about baseball and life. That was a Friday, when I firs t got into town. When I came back on Saturday to take one of their bikes for a ride at Shell Ridge, it ended up that the only Appaloosa in my size happened to be Grants, so he gave me his bike, grabbed another, and off we went. It is indeed a unique company, more so these days. I'm on the other side of the country, but I confess to ordering by phone vs. website over the years, just for the always pleasant interaction with whoever happens to take my order.
