It's a definite maybe. Measure the length of the bar-end insert, then the space
in the bar and determine how much you can lop off. I took an inch off my Chocos
and it looks to me like I have enough left for a bar-end, but not sure.

I didn't want to hijack Eamon's thread, but I was also curious about doing
this to Albatross. I currently have the HT aluminum version.
Could I chop off the ends while still being able to put bar ends on the
bars? I love everything about the bars, but on my current ride it goes back
a tad too
