I picked up the new fixed gear wheel Saturday and rode it today; first fixed ride on this frame, same 70" gear as before. The new frame seems to make it easier to climb seated while torquing hard-ish-ly at relatively low-ish cadences.
New bike, same parts and wheels: 24.98 lb with AM hub and single 18 t cog and shifting cable assembly; 23.9 lb with Surly fixed wheel with 17/19 Dingle and 18 t Shimano fw on flip side. Same build otherwise. Basically a lb lighter than the 2003 Curt. It's not the lb that counts, it's that the tubing seems to hold me back less. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Patrick Moore Alburquerque, Nuevo Mexico, Etats Unis d'Amerique, Orbis Terrarum -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
