The longer chainstays - would that have an appreciable difference on the ride quality? Bikes with longer chainstays tend to have a smoother ride. It may not be quite as nimble as other bikes, but I don't think people buying the Cheviot are hoping to use it to speed down canyon roads. Participating in LeahFoy's poll, but I'm male, though. I love the baby blue and red of the Betty Foy, but... My wife preferred the black and gold and got a Gomez, but Don't be surprised if I show off a proper blue and red Betty for myself sometime soon. Despite that I like the orange and blue just fine, especially the two color and two spelling downtube decal and the headbadge, but If I was to get a custom repaint, I would copy Sumehra's hot pink and cream. I actually emailed her for permission, but Who said the Cheviut is REPLACING the Betty Foy? I agree that would be weird. Like the look of the bike. If the 60 takes wider tires, it could be a fine alternative to the Hillborne. Two other things - thought the blue and orange was in honor of the Denver Broncos. And the camera Grant used has been my favorite for over a year now. There are times I think it takes better snaps than my mirrorless system. Cecily, concur on Peyton (go Vols!); (I'm not a fairweather fan, we'll see better days). The longer stays should be a bit more like the Appaloosa, ridewise; I was imagining the extra space behind the seat tube could be useful for fitting a larger tire; but the bridge placement, crown size, are also factors. It's not at all my cup o' tea, but it *is* pretty, all of it, from colors to lug and tubing details to headbadge. *Pretty!* Put it this way: if I had the money to buy, and my daughter had the interest in, a pretty city bike, I'd buy this one. Patrick, master of clauses, subordinate, Moore (who isn't really sure that these, above, are dependent clauses at all).
