They will work. I ran big apples on 20mm wide WTB rims on my Ogre and they
were bombproof.

Not sure what their stance is now, but at one point I believe Compass was
saying that rim size was not that critical, supple or not. Except perhaps
at very very low pressures (where you don't want to go with super supple
anyway.)

Go Velocity website and select the rim. It'll give you all kinds of info.

I've put 2.35 Big Apples on Dyads, which I believe is a slightly narrower
rim than the Atlas. It wasn't optimal in that I had to run a higher
pressure than I would have liked to keep them from squirming in corners,
but it worked.
