Boulder bikes has somehow gotten a hold of some NOS copies of a very early
 (MUSA!) carbon frameset.

This is the Graftek of historical interest, ridden in the mid-late 70's by
ARCO-North Hollywood Wheelmen, John Howard, and Bob Cook, among others.

I've never seen the model being offered by Boulder Bicycles. Looks much
more recent. I wondered whether production was subcontracted out, but
the description seems to have answered that question. At first glance, I
thought it was an Aegis or a Basso.

Haha. I thought there would be a run on these saddles. They had 13 and I
bought 3. Got my package in the mail today and it's like they came out of
a time capsule from 1992. Perfect. I checked their remaining stock and
they still have 10.

I guess I'm not the influential opinion-maker on the interwebz that I
thought I was.

(MUSA!) carbon frameset. Sounds like the fork is all metal, though. $269
 shipped is a bargain.

I probably won't order a Graftek frameset, but I seriously might order a
 couple of these saddles:

 Vetta Lite
 http://boulderbicycle.bike/Saddles-and-Seatposts/Saddles/Vintage-Saddles/Vetta-Lite-Mens-saddle-NOS-gorgeous-black-padded-saddle-from-1992-235-grams.html

I remember this saddle well, and had it on my 1993 MB-1. $30 for a 235g
saddle that I already know I like. That's hard to beat.

A B-17 Standard weighs about 520g.

Hey Bill, any idea what a B-17 weighs? Not that it matters, just curious
the difference. I think that would be a great saddle to put on my old
Stumpjumper, or maybe I could buy a couple of the saddles so I could have
an excuse to look for a B'stone or other frame to put it on!
