Col de vies are very nice for snow...they're somewhat light (studded tires =
very heavy), and have the right sweet spot width wise for snow. Ron

Fair enough. Still of no help since I've not ridden a 650B bike in
winter here myself. Maybe one of the regular Schwalbe Marathons?
Might have enough box edge to cut through snow.
BTW, I did notice someone on an A Homer Hilsen commuting on Summit
last winter.

I have studs on my mountain bike if I need them, but really over the
past 5 years I've found that a little tooth on the edges of the tire
have worked well for me in most winter situations. Plus I am not
