I mount mine right at the end of the grips and have no problem adjusting
for whatever.

That's how I have mine too. I don't screw it on quite so tight so I adjust
it as needed with my index finger as I need to. And I want it to give if

With the Shimano brake levers that came with my Sam you can mount it just
behind the cable adjuster lock nut. That puts it in a very nice position.
Not all brake levers have enough snout for this to work though.

Tricky to get the angle set right at first, but works great once you get it.
Works best on flattish frames and not wrap arounds. But does work on one of

Eric - I actually tried that mount on my MB3 - worked fairly well, but I
bumped it into everything! Next time I would look down there would be

Since the bars widen as they approach the seat, there may not be a way
around it other than lifting her arm to get a clear view. I don't use a
mirror though, so can't help much.
