Zack, so would you say the bottle doesn't change the taste? Some reviews said the bottle made their beverages taste strange. Like one could not have coffee, rinse and then have water. Yours tastes fine? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners

In my experience the bottle itself doesn't impart any taste. If I have coffee in the morning and just rinse with a tiny bit of water (like on the road) it has a faint hint of coffee. If I have coffee and then wash it out with a little dish soap and water, it is totally taste-free. -- You

I like to have hot beverages in my insulated bottles in the cold, and cold ones in the heat. I also like to drink from the bottle while riding. Pistol Creek makes a nice insulated bottle, but don't buy their sport cap - it leaks. However, the Klean Kanteen sport cap fits perfectly. KK

Just to weigh in, my insulated kleen kanteens are amongst the gear that I use most often. they are fantastic as you can drink coffee from them in the morning, rinse them, and drink water in the afternoon. really amazing. mine have held up for about 4 years too, dinged up, but not too bad.

The cafe tops, in my experience, offer no seal though. I've gotten coffee all over legs and filled up the pocket of my rucksack when using it! Is this your experience too, or am I just doing it wrong?. -J -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners

The cafe top isn't intended to seal, it's intended to be like a car coffee cup -- spill free when sloshed about a bit yet easy to drink from. So, yes, you're using it wrong. Just swap out to the sealed lid when you need it. With abandon, Patrick On Wednesday, July 10, 2013 5:56:38 AM UTC-6,

There is a disclaimer on the packaging for the cafetop that says that it's not leakproof, so this is a good warning. On Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 4:56 AM, justinaug...@gmail.com wrote: The cafe tops, in my experience, offer no seal though. I've gotten coffee all over legs and filled up the pocket
