Yeah. It just depends on the tire. Gravelking sk 38s are too tight by the width
of the knobs. I imagine certain smoother 38’s could fit. 35’s would fit no
problem. And I’ve put fenders on with my 32 paselas in the past and everything
fit.

I have Compass 38s on my 60cm and they've got just enough clearance, never

Chad, Ram geometry chart is on the Feb. 24 post put up by sameness. The 54 size
should work for you.

Any idea how big of a tire the Ram will fit? Seems like it should at least fit
a 33.33 Jack Brown. I’m just under 5’7” with an 80PBH. This would likely be
my size based on my experience owning other Rivs. Could you measure the
standover height? Thanks!

Wow this is a fantastic deal and I'm not one apt to comment on others price!
The rambo is a GREAT bike. Way undervalued. Built by Toyo in Japan. I have a 58

Morning all, final bump. $1,000 + shipping CONUS. I'm not riding it.
Someone needs to.

Thank you John. It is a superb bike. I’ve never had a road bike that rode as
well as this one. And it makes a great 650b candidate with the installation of
long reach brakes like the Tektro 559’s.

Veering away from PBH discussion and back to the bike at hand, this is a
seriously good bike at a really good price. Someone needs it I am sure. Rams
feature double taper seat stays, fillet brazed drop outs, heat treated down
tube and top tube and very neutral steering. They track on curves
Hey, I rode that bike and I'm 5'7" with 79.5 PBH.

Holy smokes. He’d put me on a 62?? I’d be riding around like Superman on that

80-ish PBH, I ride a 54 Ram. Grant wouldn't put an 86pbh on that bike.

Well David. Not sure what to tell you. I guess take this convo and advise your
friend as you will. Sounds like the 54 might be too small for them though.

Heh. My legs are disproportionately short compared to my arms and my
torso. Many years ago back in high school I had a part time job that
required us to change into uniforms. One day in the locker room a fellow
worker looked at the length of my pants and then at me. He said, "Schick,
you a
85 PBH. Fit 57 and 58 Romulus and 58 Ram. 56 would be too small. A 54 would
probably be 80pbh.

Maybe I need to wear longer pants! Haha.
Curious how a 3” height difference gives only a .75” inseam difference.

Curious. Maybe we're talking past each other. I'M 5'9" and my inseam
measures 31.25" standing on bare feet with a tape measure attached to a
stick that's pulled up snugly against the public bone. That converts to
79.375cm. If the 54cm frame (measured center of the BB to top of the top
Not sure what to say. I just remeasured. 89cm. Most of the other bikes I’ve
ridden that fit me well have 56-57cm TT’s. I guess YMMV.
For another metric, I’m 6’ with a 32” inseam. Longer legs than torso. So maybe
I’m on the small side bike wise compared to others with my PBH?

Yeah. Most road bikes I ride are 55 or 56. (I’m 6’ with 32” inseam). I guess I
could be measuring PBH wrong? But my sizing is pretty consistent with friends
the same height.
The Rams TT only slopes 2°. Essentially level. I make up for it with a tall
stem and bars with a fair bit of reach.
--
Not missing anything. My pbh is 90, my rides are 61 and 62, even a 63 is good.
61 Roadeo a bit on small side, 61 Atlantis nice fit could use a 62. Formerly
61 Ram.

I have to admit that you guys have me a bit confused. I have a PBH of a
little over 79cm and I'm riding a 54cm Ram and it fits me perfectly - and
that's with it's sloping TT. Seems like a frame that size would be too
small for someone with a PBH of 86cm and even a 56cm would be too small for
David, mine is 89. So this should be the perfect size for your friend. I should
be riding a 56cm.

What's your PBH? I have a friend who's just starting to look and is tempted
by new, etc. but is looking to me for guidance.
His PBH is 86.
What do you think?
Thanks.

John,
I have a 54cm Ram, wear a size 10 shoe. I have a bit of toe overlap at low
parking lot speeds. Doesn't effect my road riding, but I'm extra careful
weaving through pedestrians and parked cars.

In a straight line, it's 23"/58.4cm, but a geo tool I plugged the other
specs into gave me a reading of 60.01cm.
